Underwriting and Oversight Manager - (Pricing) 

Paying up to £90,000

London - Hybrid 

As part of the Underwriting & Products Team you will work on the development, approval and monitoring of insurance products with a focus on the pricing and underwriting performance.

Desirable:

• Knowledge of Power BI (or other visualisation tools).

• Knowledge of R and Python.

• Experience in personal lines pricing roles.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the monitoring process for Great Lakes products.

• Challenge pricing models, product definitions, and data analytic techniques used during the product approval process for any new products distributed by the client.

• Challenge MI dashboards from departments to identify inadequate, alternative, or additional UW rating criteria and validate the estimation of the existing ratings for existing products.

• Provide feedback on the underwriting and pricing of business during the product review process.

• Ensure that our products meet regulatory requirements from a pricing and monitoring perspective.

• Develop close working relationships with stakeholders in our managing agents and business units responsible for pricing and agree working practices around pricing changes.

• Responsible for the Underwriting and Product Team data analysis and stakeholder engagement to achieve data management and insights.

• Provide reports on Underwriting and Product performance for senior management, and internal and external stakeholders.
