Senior Business Analyst

Paying up to £100,000

London – Hybrid

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills, be self-starting and independent in the delivery of assigned tasks and projects. The candidate needs to be able to bridge the gap between the business, BTS and key vendors for our clients in a rapidly changing environment.

  • Desirable:
    Demonstrable Business analysis, systems analysis, and design experience.
  • Experienced in analysing data to help confirm and drive requirement and solution analysis.
  • Proven ability to deliver consistently high-quality results operating under Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent documentation capabilities.
  • Experience in defining and prioritizing business requirements and needs.
  • Experience developing business cases.
  • Experience in researching various solutions and carrying out solution options analysis.
  • Proven team player possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capable of operating in a geographically dispersed project environment included outsourced services/offshore development/QA teams.
  • Creative ability to define solutions and alternatives that meet business needs.
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong detail-orientation.
  • Evidence of ability of working in a dynamic, flexible environment.
  • Able to facilitate meetings and workshops
  • Strong presentation skills (articulate, comprehensive slides, good follow through)
  • Good interpersonal skills (proactive behaviour, consulting attitude, integrative personality, etc.)
  • Good organizational skills including ability to self-start own task assignments and to independently lead small projects.
  • Solid end-to-end insurance domain knowledge
  • Knowledge of Lloyd’s and Company systems and processes
  • Proficiency with software systems commonly used to manage Programs/Projects (Azure Dev Ops, MS Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Visio, JIRA etc)

Primary Duties:

  • Develop working relationships with the business to understand current processes, systems, and data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Work with colleagues in other BTS departments/Centres of Excellence to ensure change is successfully managed end-to-end.
  • Assist and develop detailed business cases and requirement documentation for new systems and enhancements.
  • Assess implementation activities and cost estimates in coordination with technology developers and solution architects.
  • Evaluate solutions elsewhere in the company to assess fit and integration into the International business and technology environment.
