INFRASTRUCTURE DELIVERY ENGINEER (AWS/AZURE)

Paying up to £90,000

London – Hybrid

This is an opportunity to join our global clients specialized in insurance and reinsurance services/products.

This role is ideal for the Senior Engineer with an Architectural skew and strong Cloud Infrastructure expertise; who has hands on technical ability and can bring their wealth of experience to board with evolving technologies.

Desirable:

• Extensive experience of supporting DevOps teams that covers design, development and operational support.
• Good communication style with other domain experts to support a single end to end delivery goal and coordination between technology teams.
• Experience of managing senior stakeholders.
• Desirable experience with AWS/Azure – Azure Ark, Citrix Service Nos, Jira.
• Familiar with Active Directory, VMware and virtualisation, and vRealize Automation product suite and Orchestrator to create blueprints and workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Everyday technical management of the IT infrastructure, including data centres, servers, storage both on premise and in the cloud.
• Work effectively across the IT teams, prioritising IT operations performance, service levels, incident management and problem resolution.
• Work within a team to create and support IAAS services in AWS and Azure Cloud
• Work closely with other teams across the wider IT department to automate manual processes.
• Maintenance and scripting in Powershell.
