About the job

Role

By joining the Actuarial Services team you will support our clients in the measurement and management of risks, regulatory requirements and deadlines and new accounting regimes that require companies, in the insurance sector, to improve processes and skills on the structuring of the framework controls and reporting schemes.


Specifically, you will take care of:


Carry out prospective assessments in the context of uncertainty;
Carry out reviews of insurance liabilities determined in accordance with the various valuation frameworks (Statutory, Solvency II and IFRS17);
Carry out economic and financial assessments aimed at M&A operations;
Support the audit team in the audit activity;
Manage the relationship with insurance customers;
Support control functions in regulatory activities.


Required skills

The ideal candidate possesses the following requirements:

At least 7 years' experience gained in a role within international insurance companies or consultancy firms;
Degree in Statistical and Actuarial Sciences or equivalent;
Good knowledge of Solvency II and IFRS 17 issues;
Good knowledge of one or more programming languages (eg R, SAS, Python, Matlab or similar);
Good IT knowledge of one or more actuarial software for cash flow projection;
Excellent knowledge of the Office package;
 Fluency in English.
