One of our banking client is looking for a Mainframe Developer on a contract basis

Mainframe Developer

6+ months contract

Sheffield - hybrid travel

To be successful in this role, you should have the following:

More than 5 years’ experience in mainframe application development and support.
Knowledge of Cobol, JCL, CICS, VSAM..etc
Excellent problem solving skills.
Knowledge of full development life cycle from requirements gathering through to deployment and support.
Ability to work in Global Development team and different timezones
Knowledge of Custody business, Security Services and Swift messages is desirable but not essential.
Excellent communications and analysis skills is essential.
Proven ability to work with others as part of an established development team or on individual tasks with minimum supervision.
