Electrical Estimator

Location – Germany (Remote)

Salary – Up to €100K (DOE)

Responsibilities:

• Project tenders for the grid integration of sizable Solar and Wind Parks and Battery Storage facilities.
• Collaborate closely with suppliers, subcontractors, project managers, and consultants to get precise and current information on the project's scope.
• Examine project descriptions, specifications, and drawings to comprehend the work's scope, precise specifications, and deadlines for completion.
• Consistent communication with supervisors and assistance for junior team members.
• Charged with creating and delivering reports on a regular basis.
• Track the status of the project and make comparisons between estimated and actual expenditures.
• Keeping abreast of developments in the field, including new materials, building techniques, and laws that could affect cost projections.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical power engineering, or a similar discipline (or comparable work experience or formal education).
• Demonstrated expertise in electrical engineering quotation calculations, especially high- and medium-voltage calculations.
• Skillful use of tools and software for calculations.
• Excellent analytical abilities and a keen sense of detail.
• Effective communication and strong people skills.
• Capacity to operate both alone and collaboratively.
• Excellent time management abilities and organisational abilities.
• Familiarity with essential legislation and contracts pertaining to building and assembly.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and standards.
• The desire to visit destinations in the DACH area.
• Proficient in both German and English.
• Driver's licence
