Snowflake Solution Architect

12+ months contract

Location: can be anywhere in the central eastern Europe

This role is pivotal in driving the development and management of Customer’s data platform, which plays a crucial role in our internal processes and decision-making.

Position Overview: As a Snowflake Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing, improving, and maintaining Customer’s Extrusion Data Cloud (EDC). This role requires strong technical expertise in Snowflake. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of data engineering principles, coupled with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, SQL scripting, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles, preferably with experience in Azure.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry or similar highly regulated environment is a plus.
• Snowflake certification(s) is a strong plus.
